What You'll Need to Make Your Dinosaur
Before we begin, make sure you have these simple materials on hand. The good news is, you probably already have most of them at home!
Colored paper or cardstock: Green for the body, and other colors (like yellow, white, and black) for the details.
Scissors: Preferably child-safe scissors.
Liquid glue or a glue stick.
A black marker or pencil: For drawing the eyes and other facial details.
How to Make Your Dinosaur Craft (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Draw and Cut Out the Body Pattern
First, draw the shape of the dinosaur's body on the green cardstock (think of a half-circle with a long tail). Then, carefully cut it out with your scissors. This will be the main body of our dinosaur.
Step 2: Create the Legs
To make sure our dinosaur can stand, it needs two sturdy legs. Cut a strip of cardstock about 10 cm long. Fold this strip in the middle to create a "V" shape. This will serve as the dinosaur's stand.
Step 3: Prepare the Details
Using the white cardstock, cut out a few small, sharp teeth in a triangle shape. With the yellow cardstock, create several circles or ovals to make spots for the dinosaur's body. Also, draw a small eye with the black marker on a piece of white paper and cut it out.
Step 4: Final Assembly
It's time to put it all together!
Glue the eye, teeth, and yellow spots onto the dinosaur's body.
Cut two small slits in the bottom of the dinosaur's body. Slide the stand you made in Step 2 through these slits so the dinosaur can stand up.
Congratulations! Your dinosaur craft is now complete!
